Hamilton and Verstappen no longer offer advice to Antonelli

Mercedes protégé Andrea Kimi Antonelli has continued his dominant streak in Formula 1, clinching his fourth consecutive victory at the Montreal Grand Prix. The young Italian solidified his lead in the world championship standings with this impressive performance, further highlighting his prodigious talent.

Antonelli shared the lead in the early stages of the race with his teammate George Russell. However, Russell was forced to retire on lap 30 due to a technical failure, expressing his frustration by hitting his car and discarding his gloves. This incident paved the way for Antonelli to take control and secure the win.

Antonelli finished the race with a comfortable 10.628-second lead over veteran Lewis Hamilton of Ferrari, who secured second place. Max Verstappen of Red Bull completed the podium, finishing third with a gap of 11.218 seconds. Notably, both Hamilton and Verstappen had provided valuable advice to the young Italian driver in the previous season, but Antonelli revealed in an interview that they no longer offer guidance this year.

"I really enjoyed the duels with George. It's a shame he had to retire. I didn't want to win that way," Antonelli commented after the race. As the current championship leader, he now holds a significant 43-point advantage over Russell, who remains in second place. The next Formula 1 race is scheduled for June 7 in Monte Carlo.
