Han Kuang exercise simulates capital defense with full bridge blockade

Taiwan's military intensified its Han Kuang 42 exercises by simulating a critical defense scenario: a full blockade of the Guangfu Bridge, a vital link between New Taipei City and Taipei City. The drill, conducted late at night and into the early morning, aimed to test the rapid response capabilities of the defending forces against an enemy attempting to infiltrate the capital.

During the exercise, soldiers from the military police established multiple layers of obstacles on the bridge.
