Hanoi releases answer keys for 2026-2027 high school entrance exams

Hanoi's Department of Education and Training announced the official answer keys for the 2026-2027 high school entrance examinations on Tuesday, providing a crucial resource for students and educators.

The competitive exams for public high schools, which concluded on May 31 for non-specialized tracks and June 1 for specialized tracks, tested students in mathematics, literature, and foreign languages. The release of the answer keys allows candidates to review their performance and anticipate their results.

This year's entrance exam saw a significant number of participants, with over 123,000 students vying for a limited number of places. Public high schools in Hanoi have a total enrollment quota of just over 81,000 students for the upcoming academic year. The department plans to publish the official exam results and admission scores by June 22.

Students were permitted to select up to three public high schools as their preferred choices, with no geographical restrictions within the city. This system allows candidates to apply to any school across Hanoi, increasing their options in the highly competitive selection process.
