Hanroho's 'I Will Come to Love You' Tops First Half Music Charts; BTS Leads Album Sales

In the first half of the year, the South Korean music scene saw Hanroho's "I Will Come to Love You" dominate music streaming charts, while BTS's "Arirang" secured the top spot in album sales. The Korea Music Content Industry Association released its first-half chart summary on July 10, highlighting these achievements.

Hanroho's "I Will Come to Love You," a track from her debut mini-album, claimed the number one position on both the digital and streaming charts for the first half of the year. Released in August 2023, the song gained traction through word-of-mouth among Generation MZ. It consistently appeared in the weekly digital chart's top 10 since late November last year, emerging as a representative hit of the first half.

BTS's fifth full-length album, "Arirang," topped the album sales chart with 4,224,016 copies sold in the first half. This album, the group's first full-group release in three years and nine months, delves into the members' identities and the various emotions they encounter in life.
