Hanwha Eagles Pitchers Return from Japan Training; Kim Seo-hyun Pitches Scoreless Inning

Hanwha Eagles pitchers Kim Seo-hyun and Kwon Min-kyu have returned from a short-term training stint in Japan, marking their return to practical competition. The duo underwent training at Next Baseball Athletics Lab in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, as part of the team's development program.

Upon his return, Kim Seo-hyun participated in his first practical assessment, successfully pitching one scoreless inning. This outing serves as an initial test of the skills and conditioning he gained during his time in Japan. The team is evaluating his performance as he reintegrates into the active roster.

The training program has shown promising results in the past. Pitcher Kim Jin-wook, who attended the program before the current season, emerged as an ace for the Lotte Giants, demonstrating the potential benefits of this international training. Hanwha hopes for similar development from Kim Seo-hyun and Kwon Min-kyu.
