Hanwha Group and KAIST Launch Fifth 'Stones of the Universe' Program to Nurture Young Astronauts

Hanwha Group, in collaboration with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), has officially launched the fifth cohort of its 'Stones of the Universe' program. This initiative is dedicated to cultivating future space talent from among South Korea's middle school students.

The program's launch event took place on July 25 at the Hanwha Building in Jung-gu, Seoul. Thirty students, selected through a rigorous process involving essay submissions and interview evaluations, will participate in the educational program. These students represent the brightest young minds identified from across the nation's middle schools.

Over the course of the program, which extends until the end of the year, the selected students will engage in specialized training and educational activities designed to foster their interest and capabilities in space science and exploration. The 'Stones of the Universe' program underscores Hanwha's commitment to nurturing future generations in science and technology fields.
