Hardrock FC has surged back to the summit of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) standings following a decisive 3-0 win against Simba Bhora on Sunday. The Kwekwe-based club now sits atop the league table, a position achieved through a combination of strong performance and a superior goal difference over rivals Scottland FC and CAPS United, with whom they are now level on points.

However, coach Kelvin Kaindu remains grounded, emphasizing that the team's main objective is survival in the top flight. "Our focus remains to survive relegation," Kaindu stated after the match. "We are a new team and obviously we need to adjust first, and I actually think we are in the right direction. Whatever will come our way as we go, we will see but so far that is the target."

The victory saw Hardrock FC extend their unbeaten run, with striker Washington Navaya scoring a brace in the first half. The team further solidified their lead when a Simba Bhora defender inadvertently deflected the ball into his own net in the 74th minute.
