Harfuch meets Senator Geovanna Bañuelos in Zacatecas to discuss Ojocaliente car bombing

Senator Geovanna Bañuelos met Security and Citizen Protection Secretary Omar García Harfuch to address the security situation in Zacatecas, with particular attention to the car bomb attack in Ojocaliente.

The explosion occurred outside the Ojocaliente Municipal Police headquarters, injuring 11 people and damaging several homes and other buildings in the area. Bañuelos expressed concern and solidarity with those affected.

The Labor Party senator from Zacatecas thanked Harfuch for responding directly to the incident. She said she would be in Zacatecas on Friday with President Claudia Sheinbaum and the federal security cabinet to inform residents and monitor the investigation and the measures adopted after the attack.
