Harry Kane wins second Golden Boot with Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has secured his second Golden Boot, finishing as the top scorer of the 2025-2026 season with 36 goals. The Bayern Munich striker also outpaced rivals Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé for the prestigious award, which he received on August 19. This marks his second time winning the honor, having also achieved it in the 2023-2024 campaign with the same goal tally.

"It tastes better than the first one because of everything we won as a team," Kane said, holding the Golden Boot. His triumphant season with Bayern Munich saw the club clinch the Bundesliga, the German Cup, and the German Super Cup, a significant improvement from the previous two seasons where they failed to secure any titles. Bayern Munich executives and former player Luca Toni were present to celebrate Kane's achievement. Toni called him a "machine," while CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen highlighted Kane's continuous growth as a mark of world-class talent.

Across all competitions in the 2025-2026 season, Kane scored a remarkable 61 goals for Bayern Munich. His 36 league goals earned him the Golden Boot, complemented by twelve goals in the Champions League and eleven in domestic cup competitions. Kane also contributed seven assists, forming a potent attacking trio with Luis Díaz and Michael Olise. Although Bayern Munich was eliminated from the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain, Kane had a strong showing at the 2026 World Cup, scoring six goals for England, making him the second-highest scorer for his nation behind Jude Bellingham.
