Hasan Al asks how Amedspor created more chances than Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor began with quick passing, controlled the match and scored first. But after the goal, Amedspor gradually increased the tempo and created several clear chances. Hasan Al said goalkeeper Onana kept Trabzonspor in the game, even saving a penalty.

Al’s main criticism focused on Trabzonspor’s midfield and defensive work. He described the central area as offering little resistance and said Salah, Aral, Onuachu and Muçi contributed too little to team defending. Amedspor moved through midfield quickly, repeatedly leaving attackers face-to-face with Onana.

Trabzonspor improved after coach Fatih Tekke’s halftime warnings. The team raised the pace, attacked from both flanks and carried the ball effectively toward the edge of the penalty area. But its final passes lacked the same quality, and the attack never became organized enough to turn pressure into a second goal.

The match ultimately slipped away in the final minutes after Trabzonspor’s defenders failed to react to a rebound off the goalkeeper and the post. Al said teams that leave matches until the last minute must expect such surprises. He also criticized Muçi and Mustafa for losing possession, saying Mustafa held the ball too long and invited pressure.

Al argued that individual talent cannot compensate for a lack of collective organization. He pointed to Trabzonspor’s earlier match against Ferencváros as another example of the team struggling to function as a unit. He nevertheless praised Salah’s scoring ability and added that Ozan Tufan can play for Trabzonspor.
