HCM City University of Medicine and Pharmacy to Award Bonus Points for IELTS, SAT Scores

The Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy announced it will begin accepting IELTS and SAT scores for bonus points in its 2026 university admissions process starting June 15. This initiative aims to recognize students with strong English language proficiency or high SAT results. Successful applicants will receive additional points during the admission selection. The university has detailed the specific procedures and deadlines for submitting these qualifications. Candidates must present certified copies of their foreign language certificates or valid SAT results that meet the university's set thresholds. Crucially, all personal information on these documents must precisely match the applicant's details to be considered valid. Applications submitted with discrepancies will not be processed. The university will accept applications at its Admissions Office from June 15 until 5 p.m. on June 26, excluding weekends. While IELTS and TOEFL iBT certificates can be submitted in person or by mail, SAT results must be submitted in person, with applicants providing login details for verification on the College Board platform. The university advised early submission for mailed applications to ensure timely receipt.
