HDZ celebrates 10 years of Plenković's leadership, citing stability and strategic gains

The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) marked a decade of Andrej Plenković's leadership, hailing it as a period of political stability and the achievement of strategic goals. The party asserted that Plenković's tenure has significantly advanced Croatia's development and strengthened its global standing within the EU, NATO, and on the international stage. Since taking the helm on July 17, 2016, HDZ claims to have secured three consecutive parliamentary election victories, three local election wins, and two European Parliament election successes. This electoral strength, the party stated, is reflected in its current governance of 15 counties and nearly half of all cities and municipalities, along with six out of twelve Croatian seats in the European Parliament. HDZ attributed these successes to the trust of its members and the support of Croatian citizens, validating a policy of responsible governance that yields results.
