Looking ahead, Stefani announced an immediate investment of 15 million euros to bolster home care services, which he described as the "new frontier to be developed." He emphasized the critical role of family doctors as the "first line" of defense in this evolving healthcare landscape.

Regarding end-of-life care legislation, Stefani indicated that discussions are underway, with a proposal to be debated next month. He acknowledged the complexities and legal constraints involved in drafting regional laws on this sensitive issue. While ruling out convergence on the Coscioni proposal in its original form, he suggested potential common ground could be found on a constitutionally compliant text, possibly incorporating amendments related to mandatory palliative care opinions and conscientious objection.

Stefani also addressed the development of a new hospital in Padua. He confirmed that the region is exploring all possible funding avenues, including ministerial discussions, to avoid the less favorable Inail financing model.
