Mladen Grdović shared a painful farewell with his dog, posting a video in which he lies beside his 15-year-old white Spitz and covers her with kisses.

The Zadar singer wrote that his beloved pet was leaving him soon. In the recording, he wonders whether her eyes look ill and asks about taking her to a veterinarian. A woman heard in the background says the dog looks clear-eyed and understands what is happening. Grdović replies with concern, saying he does not want her to suffer.

The scene drew emotional reactions from his followers. Several commenters said they could not watch the video to the end because Grdović's grief and the dog's condition moved them to tears. Others reminded him that dogs are loyal companions and urged him to stay strong.

Grdović has long been known as an animal lover, particularly of dogs. At one point, he had four white Spitz dogs, and photographers often captured him walking them along Karma promenade in Zadar. The video offered fans a particularly intimate view of that attachment.
