Heavily pregnant actress Nam Bo-ra manages side-dish store, dreams of being CEO

Actress Nam Bo-ra, currently 38 weeks pregnant, has taken on the role of managing a branch of her mother's side-dish store. The KBS 2TV program 'New Release: Restaurant' showcased Nam's current life, where she was seen diligently working in the store, wiping down counters and portioning out side dishes.

This is my mom's side-dish store. Mom opened two more branches, and I'm in charge of one of them. I'm a beginner owner who's been working here for a little over three months.

Nam explained that her mother opened two additional branches of the side-dish store, and she is now managing one of them. She described herself as a novice owner, having worked there for just over three months. Despite concerns from others about her advanced pregnancy, Nam stated that working at the store energizes her, making her feel lighter.

With a lifelong dream of becoming a CEO, Nam is actively involved in all aspects of the business. She personally tastes the side dishes, researches new recipes, and meticulously handles inventory, packaging, and display. She even attends cooking classes to further her culinary knowledge.

Everyone asks if it's hard because I'm heavy, but when I come here, I feel energized, and my body feels lighter.

Nam also engages warmly with customers, sharing her pregnancy journey and showcasing her "사장님" (사장님 - store owner/boss) persona. She humorously remarked that she might be naturally suited for business, joking that she might have been preparing for this role through her 18 years in broadcasting. Her family surprised her with a baby shower after work, where she revealed her son's name, Lee Daniel, previously known by the태명 (태명 - prenatal name) 'Kongal-i'.
