HEC Reports Third Consecutive Month of Record Revenue

HEC (3587), a semiconductor testing and analysis company, has announced its May revenue reached NT$544 million, marking a significant 26.87% increase compared to the same period last year. This figure also represents a 0.69% rise from the previous month, extending a streak of record-high revenues to three consecutive months.

The company's strong performance in the first five months of 2026 has accumulated NT$2.51 billion in revenue, a 19.01% increase over the previous year. This growth is primarily fueled by the escalating demand for outsourced material analysis (MA) and failure analysis (FA) services, essential for the research and development of high-end AI chips and the advancement of manufacturing processes.

HEC attributes the sustained demand to the rapid progress in advanced semiconductor manufacturing and the expansion of advanced packaging technologies. These developments are pushing chip power consumption towards the kilowatt level, necessitating more sophisticated testing methods. The company highlights that the increasing technical thresholds and unit prices for testing projects are driven by the need for ultra-high power pre-conditioning verification and nano-level defect localization.

Looking ahead, HEC expresses optimism about its future prospects. The company expects a continuous increase in orders for its high-end testing and analysis services, particularly as the proportion of AI accelerator projects grows. This trend is expected to further boost HEC's revenue and solidify its position in the competitive semiconductor industry.
