Hello Kitty fans flock to Mexico City for KittyFest 2026

Fans of Hello Kitty and the Sanrio universe will have a chance to immerse themselves in a "kawaii" world this summer. The KittyFest is set to take place in Mexico City on August 1 and 2 at Parque San Lorenzo in the Del Valle neighborhood. The event promises a weekend filled with merchandise, collectibles, and themed food.

Attendees can expect to find a wide array of Sanrio-themed items, including bags, backpacks, wallets, phone cases, collectible figures, plush toys, accessories like glasses and bracelets, clothing, and stationery. A special gastronomic zone will offer pink-themed drinks, food, and pastries, catering to the sweet aesthetic of the Sanrio characters.

Beyond shopping and dining, the KittyFest will provide themed photo spots and stages, along with character mascots for attendees to interact with.
