Heung Production CEO Kim Heung-do receives special award for health industry content

Kim Heung-do, CEO of Heung Production, has been honored with a special award at the 20th Korea Health Industry Awards. The ceremony, which took place on July 23, recognized Kim for his significant contributions to creating content that addresses critical issues within the bio-health sector and society.

The awards are jointly organized by the National Assembly Health and Welfare Committee and the Health Industry CEO Association, with support from various government bodies including the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. The event aims to identify and celebrate companies, institutions, and individuals who have advanced the domestic health industry and raised public awareness of its importance.

Kim Heung-do's award specifically acknowledges his efforts in producing content centered on school violence prevention and the protection of bio-health industry technology. His notable works include the drama 'Grade 1, Class 7' and promotional videos for the '113 Industrial Spy Report.' These productions utilize themes like the school violence reporting hotline 117 and the industrial spy reporting hotline 113 to highlight the necessity of preventing juvenile crime and safeguarding industrial technology.

'Grade 1, Class 7' follows students as they investigate classroom incidents, uncovering issues of school violence and bio-technology leaks. Actor Kim Jung-kyun makes a special appearance in the drama. The series and its related promotional videos are scheduled to air on STN TV in October. A representative from the Health Industry CEO Association noted that Kim's use of drama content to convey messages about technology security in the advanced bio and health industries was a key factor in the award decision.
