Hezbollah bloc slams authorities 'continued policy of submission and surrender'

The bloc voiced its criticism following its weekly meeting on Thursday, lamenting what it described as Israel's ongoing "killing, bombing, bulldozing, and destruction."

The statement specifically targeted the Lebanese authorities' continued meetings with Israeli representatives in Rome. Hezbollah argued these discussions disregard grave violations and Israel's alleged failure to adhere to any ceasefire obligations. The bloc expressed dismay, stating, "It seems authorities are determined to adopt a policy of tolerance and good faith toward the enemy despite all its blatant crimes against people and property."

In response to these developments, the Loyalty to Resistance bloc, part of Hezbollah, issued a call for decisive action. They urged the authorities to halt negotiations with Israel, asserting that the current concessions have yielded neither security nor peace. Instead, Hezbollah claimed, these actions have led to further losses and the erosion of rights and sovereignty for Lebanon and its people.
