Himalaya Roadies returns with Season 8, ‘Attitude vs Altitude’

Nepal's longest-running youth adventure reality show, Himalaya Roadies, is set to return for its eighth season on Himalaya TV. The upcoming season, themed 'Attitude vs Altitude,' promises a blend of adventure, competition, and challenges, placing a significant emphasis on contestants' mental fortitude and ability to perform under pressure.

Himalaya Roadies has cemented its status as a popular youth-oriented program in Nepal. For Season 8, the production team is introducing new challenges and a fresh cast of contestants. Yamaha is the title sponsor, with Mountain Dew serving as an 'In Association With' sponsor. The show will see some changes among its 'gang leaders,' with familiar faces returning alongside new additions. Host Remon Das Shrestha will continue to lead, accompanied by returning gang leaders Anup and Laure.

The theme 'Attitude vs Altitude' is designed to test contestants on both physical endurance in Nepal's high-altitude terrain and their mental strength. "This season will be even more thrilling as the Gen Z young talent will have to prove themselves in the high-altitude terrain of Nepal’s mountainous region," stated Shyam Kadel, Executive Director of Himalaya TV.

Talent scouting for Season 8 will commence with a city tour, featuring physical auditions in five major Nepali cities within the next two weeks. Himalaya Television, known for producing international-format reality shows like 'The Voice of Nepal' and 'MasterChef Nepal,' is behind this latest installment of Himalaya Roadies.
