HM the Sultan pays fraternal visit to Saudi Arabia

Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tarik made a private visit to Saudi Arabia and met Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman at his residence in Jeddah.

The meeting focused on the long-standing relationship between Oman and Saudi Arabia. The two sides discussed ways to advance ties across different sectors in support of their mutual interests.

They also exchanged views on recent regional and international developments, including possible solutions aimed at de-escalation and peace. The discussions were framed around protecting the security of states and peoples, as well as their economies and interests.

Senior officials from Oman and Saudi Arabia attended the meeting, including the countries’ foreign, energy, interior, transport and investment ministers. Mohammed bin Salman also welcomed and later said farewell to Sultan Haitham at the Royal Pavilion of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
