Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City has unveiled a newly renovated facility, marking a significant upgrade aimed at enhancing the experience for both patients and medical staff. The project encompasses 15 key areas, focusing on creating a more welcoming and environmentally friendly atmosphere within the hospital grounds. The official inauguration on July 3rd was attended by Lê Quốc Phong, a member of the Central Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

The hospital not only serves the residents of Ho Chi Minh City but also receives a large number of patients from southern provinces, solidifying its reputation as a trusted healthcare provider.

Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Lân, Director of Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital, described the renovation as more than just a physical upgrade; it's a strategic move towards building a modern, green, and clean healthcare environment. He believes the improved, more open spaces will make patients, particularly those with lung conditions, feel more comfortable and less stigmatized. The enhanced working environment is also expected to boost morale and foster greater empathy among the healthcare team.

The renovation project was made possible through the financial support of Khang Dien Investment and Trading JSC and Phuong Dong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB). Dr. Lân highlighted that corporate partnerships not only improve facilities but also promote a sense of community responsibility towards healthcare. The 15 renovated items include landscape improvements, repainting of specialized buildings, and enhancements to functional areas and patient lounges, creating a more cohesive, greener, and user-friendly medical setting.
