Hong Kong Fan Travels Thousands of Kilometers for Thompson Concert in Croatia

Yat Lung Zte, a dedicated fan from Hong Kong, traveled thousands of kilometers to witness his favorite musician, Marko Perković Thompson, perform live at the Šubićevac stadium in Šibenik, Croatia. Zte's commitment highlights the deep connection he shares with Thompson's music, Croatia, and significant events in recent Croatian history.

His journey to Croatia also included a visit to Knin, where he participated in the commemoration of the anniversary of Operation Storm, a pivotal military-redarstvena operation. Zte, who has consistently shown his appreciation for Thompson's work and Croatian heritage, views the long distance between Hong Kong and Croatia as no obstacle.

Before the concert, Zte shared his excitement with followers on social media, posting, "Live from Šubićevac, a few more hours until the concert, let's go." He was among tens of thousands gathered at the stadium, eagerly awaiting Thompson's stage appearance.

This is not Zte's first pilgrimage to Croatia for a Thompson concert. He previously attended a performance at Zagreb's Hipodrom, a journey that took over 12 hours. Despite the long travel, his enthusiasm remained undimmed. He also makes it a point to visit Knin annually for the Operation Storm anniversary commemoration. Zte's dedication underscores Thompson's broad international fanbase, drawing admirers from across the globe who are willing to travel great distances for his performances.
