Hot water supply to be cut for two days in parts of Bishkek

Residents in several districts of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, will experience a temporary suspension of hot water supply. The shutdown is part of extensive reconstruction efforts aimed at modernizing the city's heating infrastructure.

The municipal enterprise 'BishkekTeploSet' announced that the hot water service will be interrupted from 7:00 AM on August 23 until 7:00 PM on August 24. This measure is necessary to facilitate the reconnection of heating networks following large-scale renovation work on Frunze Street.

The affected areas are concentrated around the intersections of Frunze, Panfilov, Logvinenko streets, and Gibeck Golyu Avenue. Specific building addresses have been listed, including multiple residences along Panfilov Street (No. 188/2, 190, 190/1, 190/3, 200, 200A, 202), Frunze Street (No. 495, 497, 499), Logvinenko Street (No. 32, 55), Orozbekov Street (No. 114, 116, 118, 120, 122), and Gibeck Golyu Avenue (No. 328, 491).

This planned outage is a critical step in upgrading the city's aging utility systems, aiming to improve reliability and efficiency in the long term. Residents are advised to prepare for the temporary lack of hot water during the specified period.
