Abdul El-Sayed has emerged victorious in Michigan's U.S. Senate primary, narrowly defeating Representative Haley Stevens in a race that signals a crucial test for progressives in a pivotal battleground state. He will now face Republican Mike Rogers, a former congressman, in November. The election will be critical in determining control of the Senate.
