How I was almost molested by my football coach, Peller recounts

TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has disclosed a deeply personal and traumatic experience of sexual abuse he suffered as a teenager at the hands of a football coach. He shared on The Honest Bunch Podcast that this abuse derailed a promising football career that he believes could have taken him to the World Cup. According to Peller, who was around 14 or 15 at the time, the coach, who he identified as gay, would gather the team in an uncompleted building before training. Peller recounted instances where he was singled out, often for being late, and subjected to unwanted physical contact, including breast pressing. One particularly disturbing incident involved the coach summoning Peller to a one-room apartment under the guise of an errand. Once inside, the coach undressed and attempted to coerce Peller, promising him more playing time. Peller managed to escape when the coach briefly opened the door to address other children playing outside. This traumatic experience led Peller to abandon football. He described becoming "wise" and shifting his focus to livestreaming, where he found a new path to success. He noted that he had minimal following before meeting Jarvis, who helped him gain traction in the livestreaming world. Peller later learned from an associate that the coach had a history of similar misconduct.
