Dancer and social media personality Janemena, who gained fame after winning a N2 million dance competition in 2017, has navigated a path through public scrutiny and personal hardship in her marriage to Andre Plies, whom she wed in 2019.

A significant challenge arose in 2021 when actress Tonto Dikeh publicly accused Janemena of an illicit relationship with her former boyfriend, Joseph Egbri (Prince Kpokpogri).
