How to make your lips look fuller with concealer

Fuller-looking lips do not always require more products. According to Maybelline, a small amount of concealer can neutralize the lips’ tone and soften their natural outline, creating a base for reshaping the look.

Begin by applying lip balm and waiting a few minutes. Use a brush to place a minimal amount of concealer around the lip contour, then blend it until it merges with the skin. Draw the liner slightly above the natural edge, concentrating the effect on the Cupid’s bow and the center of the lower lip.

Apply your preferred lipstick and soften the transition with the liner for an even finish. A touch of gloss at the center adds dimension and makes the lips appear more voluminous.

The technique depends on restraint. A thick layer of concealer can emphasize texture and make the trick obvious. If the product is not blended properly, it can leave a visible line around the mouth. Overlining too far beyond the natural edge can also look artificial.
