Huatan Township Distributes Second Phase of 6,000 NT Dollar Stimulus Payments

Huatan Township in Changhua County, Taiwan, is in the process of distributing a 6,000 New Taiwan Dollar (NT$6,000) economic stimulus payment to its residents. The initiative aims to boost the local economy and provide financial relief.

The first phase of distribution concluded on August 14, with the final distribution point being the Changchun Community Activity Center in Changchun Village. For those who missed the first phase, a second distribution period will run from August 19 to November 30. Residents can collect their payments every Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the township office.

This stimulus program is expected to benefit over 42,000 residents of Huatan Township. The total amount allocated for this initiative exceeds NT$258 million. The distribution process requires recipients to present their original identification card and seal for self-collection, or specific documentation for proxy collection or collection by a legal guardian.

The township began distributing the funds on July 20, starting at the Wanya Village Activity Center. The second phase ensures that all eligible residents have an opportunity to receive the payment, emphasizing accessibility and broad participation in the economic stimulus effort.
