HUG to supply 3,600 'Trusty Lease' housing units this year

The Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) is set to significantly increase its supply of "Trusty Lease" housing units this year, aiming for a total of 3,600 units. This ambitious target more than doubles last year's provision of 1,800 units and aligns with the government's broader policy to expand public rental housing options within the Seoul metropolitan area.

HUG President Choi In-ho recently visited a Trusty Lease property in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. During his visit on June 18th, he personally inspected the housing unit both before and after renovation work. This hands-on approach underscores the corporation's commitment to ensuring the quality and suitability of these rental properties.

The "Trusty Lease" program is designed to provide stable and reliable housing for citizens. By increasing the supply, HUG aims to contribute to greater residential stability in the region. The initiative reflects a concerted effort by the government and HUG to address housing needs through public rental housing development.
