Hwang In-beom records first assist in Portuguese league debut

South Korean midfielder Hwang In-beom has made an immediate impact in his Portuguese league debut for FC Porto, recording his first assist in the team's 2-0 victory over Rio Ave. The match took place on September 16th (Korean time) at the Estádio do Rio Ave in Vila do Conde.

With this win, Porto maintains a perfect record, securing two consecutive victories in the league and currently sitting at the top of the standings. Hwang, who started the match on the bench, entered the field in the 21st minute of the second half, replacing Deniil Goul. He then contributed to the team's second goal in the 39th minute.

Receiving a pass from Alberto Costa inside the box, Hwang skillfully connected with Borja Sainz on the left side of the penalty area. Sainz then converted the opportunity with a right-footed curling shot, sealing Porto's 2-0 win.

Hwang In-beom transferred to FC Porto from Feyenoord of the Dutch Eredivisie on August 21st. This league debut marked his second official appearance for the club. He had previously played in the Portuguese Super Cup on September 2nd, coming on as a substitute in the second half and winning the trophy immediately after his transfer.

Although he missed the league's opening match against Alverca on September 10th, Hwang showcased his presence on the field during his limited playing time in the match against Rio Ave.
