Hyundai Motor Group is accelerating its pursuit of next-generation autonomous driving technology with the appointment of Kwon Jung-hyun as the head of its Advanced Vehicle Platform (AVP) division's autonomous driving development center. Kwon, a distinguished AI expert, previously led intelligent robot initiatives at Samsung Electronics and was instrumental in the design and commercialization of autonomous driving software at Nvidia.

Kwon's extensive experience spans the full spectrum of AI technologies crucial for autonomous driving, including vehicle perception algorithms, deep learning, machine learning, and computer vision.
