“I can’t help myself when I see a bicycle,” senior admits after allegedly stealing at least 17

A senior accused of stealing at least 17 bicycles reportedly told investigators he could not resist when he saw one. Most of the bicycles were electric models taken in the Tábor region and in other Czech regions.

The bicycles were worth tens of thousands of Czech korunas, but the suspect allegedly did not care about their value. He resold them almost immediately for very low prices.

The man is now in custody. Police continue investigating the case.
