I chose my health over BBNaija, says Neche

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Chinaecherem Maduagwu, known as Neche, says she chose to leave the reality show because her mental and physical health had to come first.

Speaking in a virtual interview, Neche described the voluntary exit as one of the toughest decisions of her life. She said walking away did not mean giving up, but listening to her body and mind and protecting her well-being. “It wasn’t an easy decision at all,” she said.

Neche also reflected on her connection with fellow housemate Gerard. She said the spark between them in the early days gradually faded as the weeks passed, and that she has made peace with how the relationship ended rather than dwelling on speculation.

Her focus has now shifted to business. Neche plans to grow her interior decoration brand into a major venture, while remaining open to opportunities in acting and fashion. She described her time on the show as a once-in-a-lifetime experience that tested her limits and gave her a platform to build on.
