“I will not rest until they are all in prison,” said Agostina’s father

Gabriel Vega, the father of 14-year-old Agostina Vega, is resolute in his belief that Claudio Barrelier, the only person arrested in connection with his daughter's femicide, did not act alone. Vega, alongside his lawyers Fernanda Alaniz and Gino Torreani, has been vocal about pursuing justice for Agostina.

During a press conference, Vega reiterated his conviction, stating, "I will not rest until they are all in prison." His legal team has reportedly received information about "other situations" that may have occurred at the house in the Cofico neighborhood where Agostina was killed. This comes amid a previous report of alleged unlawful deprivation of liberty at the same location a year prior.

The lawyers emphasized the need for respect during their grieving process, urging the public not to exploit Agostina's memory. They expressed confidence in the ongoing investigation and support for prosecutor Raúl Garzón. The legal team and Vega are also pushing for the indictment of Barrelier's ex-partner, the owner of the Ford Ka used to transport Agostina's body. This woman reportedly witnessed a conversation between Vega and Barrelier shortly after the murder.

Vega shared a recording of a conversation he had with Barrelier, which he has handed over to the judicial authorities. He recounted that Barrelier seemed to have an alibi from the beginning, and both he and his partner were lying. Vega's "heart tells him" that Barrelier was not the sole perpetrator. The investigation timeline, as presented by the prosecution, indicates Agostina was murdered before Barrelier met with Vega on May 25, the day after her disappearance.
