İBB Athlete Fatma Uruk Claims CMAS World Cup Championship Title

Fatma Uruk, an athlete representing the İBB Sports Club, has been crowned the overall women's champion at the CMAS World Cup Depth Competition. The event took place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, from July 13-19.

Competing against athletes from various countries, Uruk delivered a standout performance, accumulating a total of 249 points across four distinct disciplines. She secured first place in three of these disciplines: Monopal (CWT) at 71 meters, Rope Support (FIM) at 70 meters, and Double Fin (CWTBF) at 68 meters. She also achieved a fifth-place finish in the Finless (CNF) discipline with a depth of 40 meters.

Uruk distinguished herself as the sole competitor to achieve a ranking in all the disciplines she participated in. This victory follows her third-place finish in the indoor (pool) disciplines in April, marking a significant step up to international success in outdoor (sea) disciplines.

The CMAS World Cup, organized under the auspices of the international CMAS and monitored by WADA, saw participation from nine countries. Fatma Uruk's championship title is a notable achievement for Turkish underwater sports and the İBB Sports Club on the international stage.
