IDF arrests over 70 terror suspects in West Bank operation following deadly shooting

Israeli security forces conducted a large-scale operation in the West Bank, arresting more than 70 terror suspects in the early hours of Saturday. This operation followed a fatal shooting attack near Gilad Farm, southwest of Nablus, which claimed the lives of two Israelis, including an IDF officer, and wounded several others.

The Samaria Brigade, in collaboration with the IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police, focused their efforts on the village of Tell, identified as the home of the terrorist responsible for Friday's shooting. The operation involved multiple units, including the Nahal Reconnaissance Unit and the Duvdevan special operations troops, who also apprehended a terrorist planning an attack and a Hamas-affiliated suspect in the Tulkarm area.

During the extensive searches of over 300 locations, forces arrested Hamas-affiliated suspects and individuals involved in planning bomb attacks. The Binyamin Brigade alone apprehended approximately 20 suspects linked to terrorist plots, weapons trafficking, and the use of Molotov cocktails. All detainees were transferred for further questioning by security forces, highlighting the ongoing efforts to dismantle terror networks in the West Bank.
