iDNES Premium: Ad-Free Access or Targeted Advertising Options Available

Access to the full content of iDNES.cz, Lidovky.cz, Expres.cz, and Antiyoutuber.cz, along with digital versions of newspapers and magazines, is available through an iDNES Premium subscription for 199 Czech Koruna per month. This subscription offers an ad-free experience.

Alternatively, users can opt for a free access model that includes targeted advertising. This option allows unlimited reading, video playback, participation in contests, and engagement in discussions, with advertisements tailored to user interests. The targeted ads are based on user behavior and data collected online, processed by MAFRA, a.s., and its 125 advertising partners.

Users can revoke their consent for targeted advertising at any time. If consent is withdrawn, users will be prompted to upgrade to the ad-free iDNES Premium service. Consent for other purposes, such as personalized content delivery, can be modified or withdrawn independently of the Premium subscription.

MAFRA, a.s. and its partners process data for various purposes, including selecting ads, personalizing content and ads, measuring ad and content performance, understanding audience behavior through statistics, and developing services. Some data processing is based on legitimate interest, and users can object to this or adjust their privacy settings.

The settings applied by the user will be used across iDNES.cz, Lidovky.cz, Expres.cz, and Antiyoutuber.cz. If a user chooses the free, ad-supported option, consent for targeted advertising will be granted for all specified purposes. However, due to technical reasons related to advertising providers, users must explicitly opt out of certain data processing activities, such as personalized content selection and technical site operations, if they do not wish for their data to be used for these specific purposes.
