A video showing educationist and climate activist Sonam Wangchuk in a heated confrontation with security personnel at a Delhi hospital has gone viral. Authorities have issued a clarification, stating the incident occurred on July 21 when Wangchuk attempted to leave Safdarjung Hospital for Medanta Hospital.

In the viral clip, Wangchuk, who was on a 26-day hunger strike, is seen arguing with security personnel. He accuses them of harassing him and demands to be arrested, stating, "You all are harassing me. If I die of stress, it will be your responsibility." He repeatedly insists that the court's order allowing his transfer is public knowledge and "everywhere, the world knows, except you people."

The hospital administration confirmed the video was recorded before they received the Delhi High Court's written order permitting Wangchuk's transfer. Officials explained that they were waiting for the court's written directive before allowing him to leave. The confrontation escalated to the point where Wangchuk lay down on the hospital floor in protest, urging his supporters to film the exchange and document the alleged mistreatment.
