Sarah Knafo has left open the possibility of joining a government led by Jordan Bardella if Marine Le Pen becomes president in 2027. Her answer on LCI was brief but clear: “Why not,” provided the government pursued a program aligned with her convictions.

Knafo, a Reconquête member of the European Parliament, appeared on the channel while promoting her book, *Le Casse du siècle*. She used the interview to renew her call for an “union of the right,” a political alliance associated with Éric Zemmour.

The idea would bring together the National Rally, known by its French initials RN, and Reconquête in a possible governing agreement. Knafo argued that parties with similar political outlooks would need to reach an understanding to win. She pointed to Italy as an example, where Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy governs alongside the League and Forza Italia despite differences between them.

Her proposal comes four years after the bitter contest between Marine Le Pen and Éric Zemmour during the previous presidential campaign. That confrontation deepened divisions within the nationalist camp before Le Pen emerged clearly ahead. The question now is whether those wounds have healed, particularly because Le Pen has not genuinely resumed dialogue with Zemmour.

Knafo remains associated with an identity-focused line and a firm approach to state authority. She portrays her political approach as more credible, innovative, and revolutionary than that of the RN. Under Le Pen, the RN is described as more socially focused and statist than Reconquête, leaving substantial differences beneath the prospect of cooperation.
