IFARHU Opens Call for English Language Scholarships at University of Belize

The Institute for Human Development and Training (IFARHU) has opened applications for its Belize Scholarships 2026-2027 program, targeting Panamanians seeking to enhance their English language skills. This initiative offers a unique opportunity to study English as a second language at the University of Belize.

The program is set to run for 10 months, commencing in January and concluding in October 2027. Successful applicants will receive a partial scholarship that covers tuition fees. Additionally, recipients will benefit from a housing subsidy amounting to 600 Belizean dollars, aiding in their living expenses during the program.

To be eligible, candidates must be Panamanian citizens, at least 18 years old, and have successfully completed their high school education. The application deadline is August 15, 2026. IFARHU emphasizes that this program aims to bolster participants' linguistic competencies through an international academic experience, thereby expanding their professional training and job market opportunities.
