Igor Stimac's tenure as head coach of Bosnian Premier League club Zrinjski Mostar appears to be over after just one season, according to reports from BiH media. The Croatian coach has reportedly agreed to a mutual contract termination with the club's management.

The decision comes in the wake of Zrinjski's disappointing performance in the domestic league, where they were unable to defend their title. The team finished a distant second, trailing champions Borac Banja Luka by a significant 15 points. This league outcome seems to have been a primary factor in the club's decision regarding Stimac's future.

Despite the league disappointment, Stimac did manage to secure silverware for Zrinjski. He led the team to victory in the Cup final, defeating city rivals Velež. This cup triumph marks a notable achievement during his time at the helm.
