IMA Agroferias: Find out where they will be held this Friday

Panama's Institute of Agricultural Marketing (IMA) is continuing its initiative to make essential food items accessible to the public at reduced prices through "agroferias."

For Friday, June 5, the IMA has announced specific locations and times for these markets. Residents can find a variety of staple goods, including rice, beans, pasta, oil, salt, bread, sugar, grains, vegetables, eggs, tortillas, chicken, plantains, meats, apples, and other fruits.

The agroferias aim to alleviate the cost of living for Panamanians by offering these products at significantly lower prices than typically found in regular markets.

Locations for the June 5 agroferias include:

Chiriquí: In front of the Governor's Office in David Centro. Coclé: Farallón Community Hall in the La Pintada district. Colón: Central Park of Nombre de Dios in the Santa Isabel district. Veraguas: IMA Agency in Soná cabecera and the Isla Leones Community Board in the Montijo district. Panamá Este: Premises of the Las Garzas Community Board in Panamá and La Primavera field in Chepo district. Panamá Oeste: La Mendoza Community Board in the La Chorrera district.

These events are scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m., allowing ample time for shoppers to take advantage of the offerings.
