İmamoğlu urges citizens: “Do not accept unjust and unlawful imprisonment”

Detained presidential candidate and elected Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has called on citizens to reject what he described as unjust decisions and unlawful imprisonment.

In a video message shared on social media, İmamoğlu addressed the public directly. “My dear nation, I am calling out to you,” he said. “Do not become accustomed to it, do not normalize it. Never, ever accept these unjust decisions, these unjust and unlawful imprisonments. Let the nation bear witness to me.”
