İmralı delegation meets AKP deputy chairman

The encounter occurred in the evening after both parties attended commemoration programs for July 15 at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

Sources indicate that the discussion focused on the current progress of an ongoing process and the potential for enacting a framework law before the parliament adjourns for its recess at the end of the month. This meeting follows recent statements from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who indicated that a relevant regulation would be presented to the parliament for consideration. AKP Deputy Chairman Ala had also previously stated that a legal arrangement concerning "Terror-Free Turkey" was planned for discussion in the TBMM before the legislative session concludes.
