In Amman, Tunisia Reaffirms Support for Libya's Stability and Unity

Tunisia has reiterated its unwavering support for the stability, unity, and sovereignty of Libya during a high-level meeting in Amman, Jordan. Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti met with Taher Al-Baour, who is managing the affairs of Libya's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on June 22, 2026.

The discussions between the two top diplomats focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors. Key areas of focus included strengthening trade relations, fostering investment opportunities, and developing joint infrastructure projects. Both sides also explored strategies to improve the support and services provided to Tunisian and Libyan communities residing in each other's countries.
