Inclusion for People with Disabilities: Caph-CI Headquarters Rehabilitated and Equipped

Members of Côte d’Ivoire’s Coordination of Associations of People with Disabilities, known as Caph-CI, can finally breathe easier. Their headquarters in the Abobo municipality, which had recently been burglarized, has been rehabilitated and fully equipped by Orange Côte d’Ivoire.

The infrastructure was officially handed over to its beneficiaries in Abobo on September 4, 2026. The ceremony also included the signing of a partnership agreement between Orange Côte d’Ivoire and Caph-CI, in the presence of Raphaël Dogo, president of the Union of Umbrella Organizations of People with Disabilities of Côte d’Ivoire.

Catherine Assanvo, Orange Côte d’Ivoire’s director of sustainable engagement and partnerships, said the rehabilitation was intended to create a welcoming environment for people with disabilities, who also have the right to comfort. She said the headquarters had been equipped to allow them to discover activities related to the organization’s work.
