Indian Ambassador pays courtesy call on PM Shah

Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava met with Prime Minister Balendra Shah in Kathmandu on Thursday, engaging in discussions focused on enhancing Nepal-India relations and bilateral cooperation. The meeting, held at the Prime Minister's office, covered a range of topics including friendship, mutual interests, and development partnerships.

Prime Minister Shah highlighted the importance of deepening the historical connections between Nepal and India. He stressed the need to foster cooperation in areas that serve the collective interests of both nations. The discussions aimed to identify avenues for strengthening existing ties and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

Notably, China's Ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, was also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Shah on the same day. This diplomatic activity reflects the ongoing engagement of foreign envoys with Nepal's leadership.
