Indian Deputy High Commissioner concludes term in Sri Lanka, meets Speaker

The Indian Deputy High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Dr. Satyanjal Pandey, has concluded his term and paid a farewell visit to the Speaker of Parliament, Jagath Wickremaratne. The meeting, held at the Parliament premises, was also attended by the Secretary General of Parliament, Kushani Rohanadeera.

During the cordial discussion, Dr. Pandey conveyed his sincere gratitude to Speaker Wickremaratne for the support and guidance provided in fostering stronger parliamentary ties and the enduring friendship between India and Sri Lanka. He specifically acknowledged the contributions made towards enhancing cooperation between the legislative bodies of both countries.

Dr. Pandey also extended his thanks to Kushani Rohanadeera and the parliamentary staff for their assistance throughout his tenure. Speaker Wickremaratne commended Dr. Pandey for his service in Sri Lanka and expressed appreciation for the support extended by the Indian government and its people, particularly during challenging periods for the island nation.
