Indian Man Shot Dead in Philadelphia After Late-Night Pizza Delivery

An Indian man, identified as 28-year-old Anshul Kuncha, was shot and killed in North Philadelphia after completing a late-night pizza delivery. The fatal incident occurred shortly after 12:30 am on Friday at the Raymon Rosen Homes housing complex on Edgeley Street.

Kuncha was shot in the head shortly after delivering pizza to what turned out to be a vacant unit. Investigators are pursuing a lead from the phone number used to place the order. From looking at the pizza boxes, we were able to identify the pizza shop.

Evidence at the scene included three spent shell casings found close to the victim, suggesting the shooter or shooters were in close proximity. Kuncha's vehicle, with a pizza warmer still inside, was found nearby. Surveillance footage from the Philadelphia Housing Authority captured individuals following the victim, though the shooting itself was not recorded. Police reported that two people wearing dark clothing were seen following Kuncha, with one appearing to carry a dark backpack. No arrests have been made, but authorities are actively working on the lead provided by the phone number.
